Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking a Yard Tractor Operator in Sumner, WA to move trailers and containers within the warehouse. The role pays $28.25 per hour with eligibility for a bonus program and requires driving yard tractors, inspecting equipment, and assisting with loading/unloading. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant yard tractor experience.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Drive yard tractor to move trailers/containers on company premises.
• Inspect equipment for defects before and after trips; report conditions.
• Assist warehouse workers in loading and unloading.
• Follow RF queues and yard instructions to maximize turn times.
• Direct outside drivers and ensure safety procedures in the yard.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and report hazards.
• Chock wheels and secure doors before moving trailers.

Education

High school diploma or GED; certificate from college or technical school and at least one year prior experience operating a yard tractor and/or tractor/trailer combined.
