Job summary

National Trench Safety, Albany area, is seeking a Yard Ops I to perform yard and warehouse duties including order picking, returns processing, material counting, and forklift loading/unloading. The role involves servicing rental equipment, pressure washing returned items, repairs and painting to meet branding standards, with extensive training provided.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, safety compliance, inventory tasks, and basic computer use.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a yard, warehouse, or related work experience.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Ability to wear PPE daily.
• Clean driving record and pass drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials onto and off trucks primarily by forklift.
• Communicate safety or yard issues to the Yard lead.
• Assemble trench boxes and trench safety equipment.
• Signal equipment operators for assembly of trench safety equipment.
• Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery and tools.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.
• Control traffic around the yard.
• Touch up and repaint products to meet branding standards.
• Maintain yard cleanliness.
• Other duties as required.
