Job summary

National Trench Safety is seeking a Yard Operations team member in Dracut, MA. Responsibilities include loading/unloading with a forklift, processing returns, counting materials, servicing rental equipment, and maintaining branding standards through painting and touch-ups.

The role involves forklift operation, basic inventory tasks, and regular safety compliance with PPE and drug screening as part of a safety-sensitive environment. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a yard, warehouse, or related work experience.
• Forklift operating experience is preferred.
• Must be able to wear PPE daily.
• Must have an acceptable driving record to drive company pickups and non-CDL trucks and pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload equipment and materials onto and off trucks, primarily by forklift.
• Communicate safety or yard issues to the Yard lead.
• Assemble trench boxes and other trench safety equipment.
• Signal equipment operators to assist assembly of trench safety gear.
• Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.
• Control traffic in the yard area.
• Touch up and repaint products to meet branding standards.
• Answer customer questions as needed.
• Maintain yard cleanliness.
• Other duties as required.
