Job summary

WaterFleet LLC is seeking a Yard Technician to maintain and organize the equipment yard at the main facility. This role focuses on preparing, cleaning, and organizing WaterFleet's equipment and ensuring the yard and shop appear professional.

You will use training and skills to provide timely, accurate services to the company. Responsibilities include keeping the yard tidy, sorting returned equipment, and ensuring equipment is ready for field use.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or GED.
• Ability to work outside in cold and hot weather.
• Lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (<=3 moving violations in 3 years).
• English language skills, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Maintains yard organization and appearance, including landscaping and trash pickup.
• Coordinates with team to sort and process returned equipment.
• Maintains organization of tested and untested equipment.
• Ensures field employees have access to functioning equipment.
• Performs other related duties as needed by the company.
• Takes initiative to stay busy and add value to the company.

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, possible nights and weekends

Position Overview :

The Yard Technician serves primarily as the company's designated technician related to WaterFleet's equipment yard. The primary functions of this role include preparing, maintaining, cleaning, and organizing all of WaterFleet's equipment at the main facility, as well as the appearance of the yard and shop. The Yard Technician is tasked with using all available

training and skills to provide timely, accurate, and thorough services to the company.

Responsibilities :

• Maintains prescribed yard organization and appearance including some landscaping and trash pick-up
• Works with other employees to ensure returned equipment is sorted and processed into properly designated areas of the yard
• Maintains organization of tested and untested equipment
• Ensures field employees always have access to functioning equipment
• Performs other related duties as needed by the company
• Consistently takes initiative to stay busy and provide value to the company

Requirements :

• High School Grad; or GED
• Ability to work in an outside environment, cold and hot weather
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis
• Excellent organizational skills
• Acceptable background check, clear of DWI convictions, for the last 5 years
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in previous 3 years)
• English language skills, oral and written. Must respond both orally and in writing to a variety of outside entities including clients, representatives, and co-workers

Qualifications :

• Forklift certification (Company will certify if this is not already obtained)
• Experience working in a shop or yard
• Ability to use basic hand/power tools for installation and maintenance purposes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment with ability to change direction based on both internal and external needs
