Herc Rentals is seeking a Yard Technician in Berea, OH. This full-time role involves loading and unloading equipment, maintaining a clean and organized yard, and assisting customers with product knowledge and service.

You will learn operations and safety practices, with clear paths to Driver, Mechanic, ProSales, and Sales/Operations roles. Ideal candidates are energetic, dependable, and eager to grow within the equipment rental industry, with the ability to work indoors and outdoors and lift up

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload internal truck drivers, outside haulers and customers.
• Verify delivery tickets and returns for accuracy.
• Clean, maintain, and organize heavy equipment, construction equipment and various pieces of machinery.
• Review orders and stage equipment for drivers.
• Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure it is safe and in good working order.
• Maintain clean and organized yard and work area.
• Answer and resolve customer questions.
• Provide customers with expert advice on the selection, operation and maintenance of all the various types of equipment.
• Support all team members.

Job Purpose

Yard Technicians at Herc Rentals are responsible for keeping our facilities looking clean and professional by maintaining the cleanliness of our equipment and keeping everything organized and easily accessible. What you will do

Pay Range: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
