FedEx is seeking a responsible team member to move trailers in the yard and load/unload packages safely. The role includes coordinating with management, performing inspections, and using yard systems to document movements.

Responsibilities extend to handling packages by hand, sorting shipments, and working in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license and DOT compliance are required, with no formal education needed and experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• No education required.
• No experience required; six months preferred.
• Valid driver's license and DOT file.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsabilités

• Move trailers between yard and doors as described in essential functions.
• Coordinate trailer movements with management and central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Follow yard switching safety processes and procedures.
• Utilize hand-to-surface methods for package handling.
• Load and unload packages onto/from delivery vehicles and platforms.
• Sort packages by scanning, labeling, and reading charts.
