Job summary

The Aptus Group is hiring a Part-Time Yard Supervisor to support one of our partner schools in Huntington Park, CA with daily student supervision and safety. This role will assist with morning arrival, student supervision throughout the school day, and afternoon dismissal.

The position offers a pay rate of $19 - $21 per hour and is scheduled Part Time (School Operating Hours) in an Elementary School setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, responsible and attentive.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal.
• Monitor hallways, playgrounds, and other areas.
• Support classroom staff and students as needed.
• Help ensure students follow safety and behavior expectations.
• Maintain a safe, positive, welcoming environment for students.
