Job summary

OmniSource in Adrian, MI seeks a Supervisor to lead and coach a manufacturing team, drive productivity, ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance, and mentor staff daily.

You will manage personnel, monitor processes, maintain material quality, and perform all assigned tasks with strict adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

• Understanding and adherence to safety regulations.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more as required.
• Minimum of one year supervisory or lead experience in an industrial setting.
• Preferred: 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

The Supervisor is responsible for leading and directing employees within the department to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role focuses on driving productivity, maintaining material quality, and supporting daily operational goals while ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations. The Supervisor will coach, train, and develop team members, address performance and personnel matters as they arise, and monitor key processes to support overall plant performance.
