Job summary

OmniSource is seeking a Supervisor to lead a department, coach team members, and ensure safe, efficient operations. You will monitor productivity, enforce safety and environmental standards, and align with company policies while driving daily goals.

You will develop staff, address performance issues, and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to maintain material quality and output in a manufacturing setting. Experience in supervision is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year supervisory or lead experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more as required.

The Supervisor is responsible for leading and directing employees within the department to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role focuses on driving productivity, maintaining material quality, and supporting daily operational goals while ensuring adherence to company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations. The Supervisor will coach, train, and develop team members, address performance and personnel matters as they arise, and monitor key processes to support overall plant performance.
