Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group in the Tampa area is hiring a full-time yard/warehouse worker to safely move vehicles and equipment in the yard and support loading and unloading operations.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4:45 pm until 2:30/3:30 am. Pay rate $24.72 per hour. Candidates must have a valid driver's license, at least 1 year of related experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Bi-lingual is a plus.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in related area
• Demonstrate good communication skills with high levels of professionalism
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
• Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
• Bi-lingual a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles around the yard, ensuring they are properly positioned for loading and unloading.
• Checking vehicles and other equipment for safety and operational readiness.
• Safely and efficiently navigating vehicles and other equipment within the yard, avoiding congestion and maintaining an orderly environment.
• Providing clear directions to truck drivers and other team members and communicating any issues or changes in the plan.
• Adhering to all safety procedures and protocols and reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Responsibly handle beverage alcohol product.
• Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Physical Requirements

Frequently sit, stand, bend, squat, and reach. Frequently climb into and out of vehicle. Regularly lift 45-65 lbs. Must talk, hear, use hands and fingers to operate a vehicle and tech device.

Competencies

Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically. Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
