Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking candidates to assist contractors and DIYers with order loading, material staging, and loading. You will help maintain yard inventory, perform cycle counts, and keep the yard organized and clean. Training is provided for forklift operation if not currently certified.

We value a friendly, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work outdoors in all conditions. This is a full-time position on the 2nd shift with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is required.
• Friendly personality is desirable.
• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Ability to work outside in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selection and loading of orders.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery.
• Maintain inventory in the yard by conducting cycle counts.
• Keep the yard organized and clean.

Description

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
