Job summary

The Company seeks a Yard Specialist to operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts and skid steers, in a fast-paced environment. You will organize stone, maintain the yard, and assist customers with loading and unloading materials.

Required is a high school diploma or GED; 2+ years skid steer experience is preferred. This is a full-time position with hours Mon-Sat 7am–6pm, and occasional Sundays. Safety and customer service are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years skid steer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains yard cleanliness.
• Assists customers with loading and unloading of materials.
• Completes shipping and receiving of materials.
• Greets customers and provides appropriate guidance.
• Operates skid steers and forklifts.
• Occasionally operates small equipment such as blowers and hand tools.
• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to the supervisor.
