Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is hiring for a yard associate to support contractors and DIY customers in selecting and loading orders. You will pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, assist with inventory control through cycle counts, and keep the yard neat and safe.

Forklift experience is a plus and training may be provided. Ideal candidates have customer service experience, a friendly, team-oriented attitude, and are comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
