Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Yard Associate to assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selecting and loading orders, pulling and staging materials for pickup or delivery, and maintaining an orderly yard. You will support inventory through cycle counts and keep work areas clean and safe.

This full-time, on-site position requires a friendly, team-oriented person who can work outdoors in all conditions. Forklift experience is a plus; if you haven't operated one, you'll receive training and

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with order selection and loading.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup and/or delivery.
• Maintain yard inventory with cycle counts.
• Keep the yard organized and clean.
• Operate forklift; training and certification will be provided.

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
