Job summary

Carter Lumber Company in Port Clinton, OH is hiring a yard associate to assist contractors and DIY customers, load and stage materials, and help keep the yard organized. You will work outdoors, operate a forklift (training provided), and be part of a team that values reliability and safety.

This full-time position offers benefits after 30 days, the chance to grow within the company, and a friendly, hands-on work environment in a thriving building materials retailer serving the local community.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order
• Pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered
• Help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts
• Keep the Yard organized and clean; operate a forklift (training provided)

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
