Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is hiring for a yard associate to assist contractors and DIY customers. You will help with selecting and loading orders, pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery, and maintain yard inventory and organization. Forklift certification may be provided after training.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading of orders.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup and/or delivery.
• Maintain inventory in the yard with cycle counts.
• Keep the yard organized and clean.

Description

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
