Job summary

Carter Lumber in Michigan is hiring a Yard Associate to assist contractors and DIYers, load orders, and keep the yard organized. You’ll operate a forklift after training and help maintain inventory with cycle counts, thriving in outdoor conditions and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven’t operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
