Job summary

Carter Lumber in Ohio is seeking a yard associate to assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selection and loading, pull and stage materials, and keep the yard organized and safe. Forklift use may be required and training will be provided to obtain certification. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and outdoor work in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading of orders.
• Pull and stage materials for pickup or delivery.
• Help maintain inventory in the Yard with cycle counts.
• Keep the Yard organized and clean.

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
