Job summary

Carter Lumber Company is seeking hands-on teammates to join our yard crew in Ohio. You will assist contractors and DIYers, load and pull orders, stage materials, and keep the yard organized. Training is provided for forklift operation and certification, with a safety-first, team-oriented culture.

• Customer service experience is required.

• Familiarity with building materials is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and DIYers with selection and loading of their order.
• Pull and stage materials to be picked up or delivered.
• Help maintain inventory in the yard by conducting cycle counts.
• Keep the yard organized and clean; forklift operation training provided.

Description:

You will assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with the selection and loading of their order, pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered, help maintain the inventory in the Yard by conducting cycle counts, and keep the Yard organized and clean. Equipment used includes a forklift and if youhaven't operated one previously, we will train youand help youattain certification.
