Central Valley Builders Supply in Napa, CA is seeking a Yard Receiving Associate to verify incoming shipments, match packing slips to purchase orders, and stage products for the stocking team. You will communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely delivery.

This role requires basic math and computer skills, plus forklift experience and at least one year in receiving. The successful candidate will help maintain accuracy, safety, and organization across yard operations,

• Lumber, building materials and agriculture product knowledge preferred.
• Construction and/or building materials experience a plus.
• Forklift experience desired.
• 1+ years of Receiving experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Receives products and resolves vendor discrepancies.
• Ensures received items match purchase orders and packing slips.
• Compare PO against vendor receipts for accuracy and verify quantities.
• Ensure shipments are undamaged and note discrepancies.
• Process deliveries same day to meet 24-hour door-to-floor goal.
• Stage product in an organized manner for stocking.
• Oversee returns and credits from receipt to invoicing.
• Communicate receipt of special orders to the appropriate salesperson.
• Sort, file and check paperwork; update computer system.
• Work with yard staff to account for deliveries and receipts.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and assure proper credit.
• Lift/move product up to 100 lbs as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Central Valley has been voted among the Best Places to work in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal. We are currently seeking a Yard Receiving Associate for our Napa facility.

The Yard Receiving Associate receives product and resolves vendor discrepancies. Ensures that product received is accurate and in sellable condition. Ensures that packing slip matches purchase order.

• Compares purchase order against vendor receipt for accuracy. Reviews packing slip in order to verify quantity and product accuracy.
• Ensures that all shipments are received in good, undamaged condition and notes discrepancies.
• Strives to process all deliveries same day to meet 24-hour door to floor goal.
• Stages all product in an organized manner to assure optimal productivity of stocking team.
• Oversees returns and credits from receipt to invoicing.
• Communicates receipt of special orders to appropriate salesperson, ensuring prompt customer delivery and satisfaction.
• Sorts, files and checks paperwork.
• Provides accurate information to update computer system.
• Works with yard staff to account for all deliveries and receive all products.
• Communicates with vendors in person, via phone and email in order to resolve discrepancies and assure proper credit.
• Lifts and/or moves product, up to 100lbs, to stage for stocking crew.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
