Job summary

Hensall Co-op is seeking a reliable seasonal team member for the Westfield location, starting immediately through December. The role involves weighing, loading, unloading agricultural products, keeping records, and operating conveyors and pits.

You will also maintain a clean, safe yard, assist with inventory, and perform related tasks as needed. A valid G license and physical endurance are required; accommodation can be requested.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with strong time management.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform manual labour tasks for hours at a time.
• Physically able to lift 50lbs and climb up to 100ft
• Dependable with a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability and willingness to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service for incoming and outgoing loads of agricultural products by weighing, loading, and unloading product.
• Maintain accurate records of product movement and ensure proper documentation is completed for each load.
• Operate all equipment associated with the elevator including drags, conveyors, scales, and pits.
• Perform general maintenance and housekeeping to ensure the yard is always kept clean and safe.
• Assist with inventory control by verifying shipments, completing documentation, and producing inventory counts when needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
