Job summary

Cooperative Farmers Elevator is seeking a part-time General Laborer to support grain operations and provide excellent customer service to members and customers.

You will maintain grain quality, perform housekeeping, assist with loading/unloading, and help with fertilizer handling. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel software.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain attention to detail.
• Detail oriented to provide accurate and consistent work with or without direction.
• Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as general office machines and phone system.

To provide reliable support in all grain operations on a part-time basis, ensuring efficiency and delivering excellent customer service to Cooperative Farmers Elevator members and customers.

Requirements

General Laborer

• Maintain grain quality
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain dust levels
• Perform maintenance and repairs to equipment
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance
• Measure and track grain inventory
• Perform basic grain handling, loading and unloading
• Ability to dump grain
• Assist with loading and unloading fertilizer
