Job summary

Cooperative Farmers Elevator is seeking a General Laborer to assist in fall grain operations in Iowa. You will help maintain grain quality, measure inventory, load and unload grain and fertilizer, and support equipment maintenance while delivering friendly, reliable service to members and customers.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

Description

To accurately assist in all grain operations during the fall season in an efficient manner and provide outstanding customer service to Cooperative Farmers Elevators members and customers.

Requirements

General Laborer

• Maintain grain quality
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain dust levels
• Perform maintenance and repairs to equipment
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance
• Measure and track grain inventory
• Perform basic grain handling, loading and unloading
• Ability to dump grain
• Assist with loading and unloading fertilizer

• Uphold all cooperative policies
• Attend all employee safety meetings, etc. held as required or scheduled in conjunction with Safety Director and location
