Job summary

National Trench Safety in Fremont, CA is seeking a Yard Operations 1 to pick orders, process returns, count materials, load and unload trucks, and service rental equipment. Frequent forklift operation is required, including cleaning and repainting to meet branding standards.

This is a safety-sensitive role with strict compliance to the drug and alcohol policy and safety procedures. Extensive training will be provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of yard/warehouse experience.
• Forklift operating experience preferred.
• Able to wear PPE daily.
• Able to pass a drug screening test and have an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload equipment and materials from trucks, mainly by forklift.
• Notify Yard lead about safety or yard issues.
• Assemble trench safety equipment.
• Signal equipment operators for assembly.
• Lubricate, clean, repair machinery, tools.
• Use hand and power tools as required.
• Maintain yard cleanliness and organize space.
• Assist customers with questions.
