Job summary

Booster is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily yard and field operations in San Jose. You will manage Service Professionals, align shifts with safety requirements, and ensure fleet readiness while upholding Booster’s operating standards.

This frontline leadership role uses Booster’s Business System and SQDPP pillars to reduce issues, improve productivity, and coach teams. You’ll partner with cross‑functional groups to meet customer commitments and drive safe, reliable performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of supervisory or frontline leadership experience.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, fleet, distribution, or similar operational environments preferred.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own safe and reliable execution of assigned yard and field operations.
• Lead start-of-shift meetings and ensure clear alignment around safety, customer priorities, routes, staffing, fleet readiness, and operational risks.
• Assign Service Professionals, vehicles, routes, and work based on business priorities and available capacity.
• Monitor execution throughout the shift and adjust staffing, routing, or resources as conditions change.
• Ensure customer commitments are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain clear operational handoffs between shifts.
• Monitor route completion, service misses, delays, and operational exceptions.
• Take timely containment action when performance is at risk.
• Escalate material customer, safety, fleet, or operational issues when appropriate.

Education
