Job summary

Buzzi Unicem USA Inc. is seeking a maintenance supervisor in Texas to lead the yard crew and support production operations at our cement facility in Maryneal. The role emphasizes safety, housekeeping, and efficient scheduling of staff and equipment, with a focus on cost-conscious operations.

Qualifications include a GED/HS diploma and 2 years in a cement environment preferred, plus strong communication, organizational skills and proficiency with Office, Outlook, Kronos and Oracle systems.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Minimum two years in a cement manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficient with standard business software and plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all hourly yard crew personnel.
• Monitor safety and housekeeping within production areas.
• Coordinate with production superintendent on equipment and staffing needs.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and collective agreements.
• Direct maintenance of plant grounds and related equipment.
