Job summary

Penske Logistics LLC is seeking a yard coordinator to manage trailer movement and yard layout for efficient operations at the Liberty, NC site. You will coordinate with security, perform data audits, and generate reports to support daily logistics activities.

The role requires strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills, with a 2nd shift schedule and travel as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Experience using a dolly crank & bolt cutters.
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
• Outlook and Inter/Intranet use experience.
• Organizes own work and the work of others to achieve goals in a timely manner.
• Willingness to travel and pass background checks per Penske policy.

Responsibilities

• Creates yard layout and trailer movement schedule (shunt schedule).
• Interfaces with Security regarding safety and policy.
• Performs yard audits and ensures data accuracy in systems.
• Produces necessary reports and maintains a safe work environment.
• Meets deadlines for reports and activities.
• Adheres to company guidelines and expectations.
• Supports Supervisor with additional projects.
