Job summary

Performance Team is hiring a yard operations associate in New Jersey to organize and update the yard daily, ensuring materials arrive as ordered and supporting routing and shipping activities.

You will gate trailers and containers, walk the yard for accuracy, assist in outbound material movement, and work with dispatch to ensure seamless trailer transfers. Knowledge of DOT rules and basic Microsoft applications is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Gate trailers and containers in and out of the yard using the company software system.
• Walk the yard twice daily to ensure its accuracy.
• Assist warehouse team in routing and shipping of materials with outbound equipment.
• Coordinate with dispatch to ensure trailer transfers between buildings occur smoothly.
• Maintain and verify equipment inventory; inspect containers and chassis.
