The ideal candidate will bring proven yard management experience, leadership, and familiarity with vehicle tracking systems to keep records precise and processes optimized.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in yard management, logistics, or related warehouse operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations in logistics environments.
• Familiarity with vehicle tracking technology used in operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in records.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
• Ability to operate an Electric Pallet Jack Truck.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard activities including trailer movement and staging.
• Supervise yard workers and coordinate trailer handling and logistics.
• Use vehicle management software to monitor trailer disposition in real time.
• Maintain accurate inventory of trailers and equipment.
• Coordinate with drivers to manage unloading/loading and staging.
• Record movement data for inventory analytics.
• Enforce safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture.
• Collaborate to address yard issues and optimize throughput.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections and environment assessments.
