Qualifications

• Leadership experience supervising yard teams and coordinating activities.
• Knowledge of container, chassis, trailer operations and yard equipment.
• Experience with WMS/TMS or yard management systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily yard activities including container, chassis, trailer, and equipment movements.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound container flow to maximize yard utilization.
• Ensure proper staging of trailers/containers to support warehouse and transportation operations.
• Monitor dwell times and address aging inventory.
• Maintain yard organization and cleanliness standards.
• Supervise yard drivers, spotters, gate personnel, and yard coordinators.
• Create and manage employee schedules; lead shift meetings.
