Job summary

InProduction seeks a Yard Lead to support daily yard operations, lead Yard Associates, and ensure materials, equipment, and staging assets are received, organized, and shipped safely and efficiently. You will coordinate with yard leadership, warehouse personnel, logistics, and project teams to maintain a well-organized yard and smooth workflow.

The role requires hands-on leadership, clear communication, and a focus on productivity, accountability, and professional standards in the yard.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, issuing, packing, shipping or storage preferred.
• Familiar with basic hand tools.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Able to work overtime.
• Read and understand safety instructions.
• Small engine repair and maintenance skills preferred but not required.
• Forklift training is a must.
• Forklift experience and license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and provide work direction to assigned personnel.
• Maximize productivity of personnel through training and supervision.
• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically.
• Maintain records, files and reports.
• Check products for defects and accuracy.
• Pull, pack and ship finished goods.
• Load, unload, and operate delivery vehicle.
• Inspect machinery and perform regular maintenance.
• Unload materials and stack them to assigned places.
• Pull orders from shelves and palletize.
• Communicate with managers to identify equipment needing maintenance.
• Ensure safety measures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of tools and equipment at shift end.
• Possible key/security access and building oversight.
