Job summary

Kelvion is seeking a Warehouse Yard Lead to guide yard teams, coordinate loading/unloading, and maintain accurate inventory. You will ensure safety, train new staff, and collaborate with logistics, production, and transportation to keep operations efficient.

The role requires leadership in a warehouse setting, strong communication, and experience with yard material handling and inventory controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven leadership in a warehouse or yard setting.
• Experience with inventory control and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse-management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily work direction and operational support to yard team members.
• Coordinate loading and unloading of inbound and outbound materials.
• Train team members on material-handling, loading, and storage procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure paperwork is complete.
• Verify shipments for type, quantity, condition, and destination.
• Promote a safe working environment and address hazards promptly.
• Onboard and train new yard employees as needed.
