Job summary

Kelvion is seeking a Warehouse Yard Lead in Oklahoma to provide day-to-day leadership in our laydown yards. You will coordinate material flow, inventory accuracy, and safe, efficient operations while guiding yard staff and collaborating with logistics, production, and transportation teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, on-time shipping and receiving, and adherence to safety policies. Previous lead experience and forklift familiarity are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or yard operations experience required.
• Lead or informal supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily work direction and operational support to yard team members.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees in laydown yards.
• Assign work, communicate priorities, and monitor task completion.
• Coordinate loading and unloading of inbound/outbound materials.
• Train team members on material handling, loading, unloading, and storage.
• Maintain accountability for materials entering, stored, and shipped from yards.
• Verify inbound/outbound shipments for type, quantity, condition, and destination.
• Ensure shipping/receiving and inventory paperwork are complete and timely.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external drivers for deliveries.
• Onboard and train new yard employees.
