Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Yard Driver to safely and efficiently move trailers within the yard and assist with forklift tasks as needed. The role requires attention to safety, coordination with office staff, and the ability to perform DVIRs and pre/post-trip inspections.

The position supports warehouse operations in Columbia, South Carolina, and requires a valid driver's license, relevant experience, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Willing to pass company physical, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely backs trailers into dock/yard spaces and secures them.
• Parks and organizes trailers on the yard.
• Operate yard spotter and slide tandems as needed.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on yard tractor and complete DVIRs.
• Coordinate trailer movements with the office to minimize downtime.
