Job summary

Kenco Group is seeking a Forklift Operator in Columbia, SC to safely operate powered industrial equipment and support efficient distribution operations. The role includes loading and unloading, stacking, scanning, labeling, and maintaining accurate inventory records as required.

Candidate should have at least two years of forklift experience, a valid forklift license, and basic computer skills to work with inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years forklift operating experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment (sit-down/stand-up forklifts, clamp, picker).
• Load, unload, and store products; move materials to designated areas.
• Scan products, print labels, and update inventory systems as needed.
• Complete paperwork and cycle counts; follow product rotation procedures.
• Perform daily safety inspections; keep the facility inspection-ready for audits.
