Job summary

Wesco in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Yard Operations Associate to handle efficient yard operations, including loading, unloading, and supporting receiving and shipping processes.

You will operate equipment, perform spotting for operators, inspect gear, log shipment data, and help prepare packages for storage and delivery. A high school diploma is preferred; forklift experience and 1 year in warehouse operations are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Equipment operations, warehouse, and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide spotting duties for equipment operators.
• Perform rigging and cribbing of all materials.
• Inspect all equipment used daily.
• Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system.
• Prepare packages and merchandise for storage and delivery.
• Operate heavy equipment.
