Job summary

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is seeking a Yard Attendant in Bondurant, Iowa. You will be the first and last contact for customers and haulers, ensuring machines are prepped, inspected, and loaded with care in a fast-paced yard environment.

You will maintain organization, perform regular inspections, and assist other departments as needed while upholding safety and accuracy in all yard activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dependable, self-starter and hard working.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Team player willing to help wherever needed.
• Able to operate equipment safely (telehandler, forklift, construction equipment).
• Possess a valid driver’s license with clean record; pass safety tests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the yard.
• Maintain an organized yard and perform walkarounds.
• Inspect machines before/after demos, loans, rents, or sales.
• Coordinate transfers with Rental team and manage yard paperwork.
