Job summary

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is seeking a Yard Attendant in Bondurant, IA. You will be the first and last contact for customers and equipment haulers in the yard, with responsibilities including inspecting machines, prepping for sale or rent, and loading equipment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, dependability, strong attention to detail, and good communication. Must operate yard equipment safely (telehandler, forklift) and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in the yard.
• Daily yard walks and maintain order.
• Inspect equipment before/after demos, loans, rents, sales.
• Coordinate transfers with Rental team and manage yard paperwork.
• Load/unload customer trucks and trailers.
• Keep loading bay clean and orderly.
• Perform weekly inspections of telehandler and forklift.
• Conduct nightly closing inspections.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Operate yard equipment to keep pads clean and yard smooth.
