Job summary

Mckinney Trailers is seeking a Yard/Rental Yard Associate to run a safe, clean, and organized trailer yard and support customers and employees. You will ensure equipment is in safe working condition and coordinate with the rental office on requests and orders.

The role requires attention to detail, solid communication, and the ability to perform inspections, move trailers, and assist with check-in/check-out processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1-year college/technical certificate or 3–6 months related experience.
• Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Attention to detail and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Open and close rental agreements and related paperwork.
• Inspect trailers for cosmetic damage and perform minor repairs.
• Pull trailers and prep for customer deliveries.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure availability of trailers and containers.
• Communicate with rental office to fill customer requests and orders.
