Job summary

R.P. Lumber is seeking a Yard Manager for our Rawlins, WY lumberyard. This is a working supervisor role where you will lead yard and warehouse staff, keep inventory accurate, run safe equipment and delivery operations, and report to the General Manager.

You will help train the yard team, manage labor hours, and complete the reporting that accompanies receiving and delivering inventory.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising yard or warehouse teams.
• Proficient in inventory control and order accuracy.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee incoming inventory and ensure proper storage.
• Audit delivery tickets against purchase orders.
• Direct yard staff using forklifts to load/unload.
• Prepare and reconcile bills of lading and packing slips.
• Inspect outgoing loads for shipping specs and safety.
