Job summary

R.P. Lumber is hiring a Yard Associate for our Saratoga, WY lumberyard. This is a hands-on outdoor role for someone who can load customers accurately, keep the yard safe and organized, and help drivers unload lumber, shingles, drywall, millwork, and other building materials. You will report to the Yard Manager.

Forklift experience is helpful. We will train the right person. This on-site role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 100

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience is helpful; training available.
• Able to lift 50–100 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the yard and assist with loading.
• Load customer vehicles and verify tickets against products.
• Answer questions about products, orders, pricing, and delivery timing.
• Keep yard areas stocked, faced, priced, clean, and safe.
• Unload inbound freight and stock merchandise with forklift.
• Assist with deliveries and help unload at homes or jobsites.
