Travero, through CRANDIC, seeks a dispatch-focused professional to maintain daily operational communications for train crews, maintenance activities, and interchanges with connecting railroads. You will connect customers, crews, and railroad partners to ensure safe, efficient operations.

This role requires strong problem-solving, coordination with multiple teams, and availability for shifts including nights and weekends in a fast-paced railway environment.

Qualifications

• Previous dispatch and/or customer service experience.
• Ability to use computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work night shifts, weekends and holidays.

This position serves as a key communication hub, connecting customers, crews, and railroad partners to ensure exceptional service and seamless operations. Job Summary

This position is responsible for the daily communication and dissemination of operational information regarding train crews, Maintenance of Way activities, and interchanges, receipts, and deliveries with connecting railroads. Plays a key role in the dissemination of information between internal and external customers.

What you will do

Responsible for providing leadership and direction for the essential functions of customer service. Coordinates and communicates with all technical support areas of CRANDIC to ensure efficient and accurate information. Responsible for interface with internal and external customers. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience

Previous dispatch and/or customer service experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrated proficiency using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office products. Previous background working shift positions including nights, weekends and holidays. Demonstrated experience managing and interfacing with internal and external customers.
