Job summary

Flint Equipment Company is seeking a Yard Maintenance Technician to manage equipment yard intake, documentation, and outgoing shipments. You will photograph equipment, track inventory, and ensure fuel and condition reporting are up to date.

The role supports the Service department and reports to the Service Manager or Shop Foreman. The position emphasizes reliable, independent work alongside a team, with attention to safety and accuracy in records.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work alone or with others and have strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
• Stable work history, safe work habits and ability to meet work deadlines required.
• Computer literacy, ability to operate fax and scanning equipment, and ability to operate heavy equipment required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain all equipment arriving and/or departing equipment yard and document activities accordingly.
• Load and unload equipment and attachments, conduct, inspect, and report the condition of the equipment.
• Provide daily notifications for all inventory items leaving and/or returning the equipment yard through the Shipping and Receiving function.
• Photograph all incoming and/or outgoing machines and Upload pictures as outlined in accordance to the photo support point guideline.
• Maintain equipment with fuel as required and document consumed through the shipping and receiving function.
• Perform and conduct inventory counts of machines and attachments.
• Perform related duties and fulfill responsibilities as required

Supervises: None

Job Status: Part Time/Non- Exempt

Purpose

Receives all equipment, attachments and parts delivered to dealership. Performs RECORD 360 documentation of all equipment and attachments being received or shipped out for Rent, Demo or Sale. May require some direction or guidance from the Sales Manager, Service Manager, Shop Foreman and Parts Manager.
