Job summary

Roberts Cattle Company in Lexington, NE is seeking a yard maintenance worker to perform general upkeep and repair tasks across the feed yard and buildings.

You will operate and maintain heavy equipment, assist with fencing, water systems, and routine yard cleanup while following safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Attitude and reliability are essential for this role. This position requires ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in varying weather, and pass post-offer testing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Ability to pass post-offer employment testing.

Responsibilities

• General yard maintenance and repair in feed yard areas.
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment as needed.
• Pull/relocate fencing and install new pen fencing.
• Drain and clean water tanks and manage water lines.
• Apply insecticides or pesticides under licensed supervision.
• Clean and repair feed bunks and assist with welding/fabrication.
• Dig trenches and install water lines; perform sprinkler work.
• Perform farm maintenance including windmills and cement tasks.
• Remove dead animals to designated areas; assist electrical tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and comply with safety procedures.

Roberts Cattle Company is looking to add to their yard maintenance team in Lexington, NE.Summary: Participate in general yard maintenance and repair.
