Job summary

Knight Feedlot in Lyons, Kansas is seeking a part-time weekend feedtruck driver to deliver feed to animals in a timely and safe manner.

The successful candidate must pass post-offer employment testing and will operate the feed delivery software, load trucks to specified sizes, and assist with equipment as needed. Wages are competitive and commensurate with experience, with room for advancement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 months related experience or training.
  • Ability to read simple words and numbers; basic math with weights/measurements.
  • Ability to operate basic equipment and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Drive feed truck to deliver feed to animals in a timely and safe manner.
  • Load trucks to specified load sizes and use feed delivery software.
  • Operate front end loader to load feed ingredients.
  • Deliver feed to bunks in an evenly distributed manner.
  • Notify appropriate personnel regarding repairs or maintenance needed.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the feed area and follow OSHA safety procedures.

Knight Feedlot is looking to add a part time weekend feedtruck driver for the feedyard located in Lyons, KS.The successful candidate for this position must be able to pass post offer employment testing.This position offers competitive wages commensurate with experience and room for advancement.All interested individuals should apply online at ilsbeef.com/careers, call (620) 257-5106 or apply in person at:Knight Feedlot located at 1786 Ave J., Lyons, KS 67554.Summary: Drives feed truck to deliver feed to animals in an efficient and timely manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following.
