Qualifications

• Formal Education: Some High School
• Experience: 6 months or less
• Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
• 9th grade level education required.
• Updating of Knowledge: Job requirements do not significantly change over time.

Responsibilities

• Assists in machine yard/shop activities.
• Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
• Delivers parts or stock to designated work areas.
• Operates heavy equipment to and from cleaning area. Utilizes high pressure steam-cleaning equipment to clean equipment.
• Adds coolant to reservoirs of machines and lubricates machine parts.
• Separates metal shavings, chips, and scrap materials from trash and places them in bins for resale.
• Ensures work areas are clean and safe.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
