Job summary

Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. is seeking a Yard Loader to safely load and unload deliveries at our Illinois facility. You will operate a forklift, perform basic maintenance, and interact with drivers and customers while ensuring accuracy and quality.

This full‑time role requires 40+ hours per week, including weekends as needed. You will follow PPE rules, support inventory control, and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience loading/unloading with forklift and in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate safely and follow PPE protocols.
• Customer service skills for interactions with drivers and customers.
• Willingness to work 40+ hours per week and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain a PPE-focused safe work environment.
• Safely operate forklifts and perform basic maintenance.
• Inspect finished goods and label them accurately.
• Provide strong customer service during loading/unloading.
• Rotate product and track inventory levels.
• Learn pipe specs and packaging requirements.
• Pursue continuous improvement in processes and housekeeping.
• Develop skills through company training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
