Job summary

The Macomb Group, Inc. is seeking a Yard Loader/Picker Packer to join our warehouse team in Akron, OH. You will select items from inventory, prepare orders, and pack them securely for shipment, contributing to on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include operating heavy-duty front-end loaders to move and stockpile materials, performing daily equipment checks, loading trucks safely, and maintaining a clean, organized work area while following safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience and/or training required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders to move and load bulk materials.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Load trucks accurately and safely.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and assist with plant operations.
• Follow all safety regulations and communicate effectively with drivers and coworkers.
• Pick items according to order sheets.
• Pack products securely and label packages correctly.
• Verify order accuracy and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
