Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials onto pallets, trucks, or customer vehicles and secure with straps, bracing, or padding.
• Build loads balancing weight and content for safe transport.
• Read work orders or follow verbal instructions to determine materials to move.
• Transport materials from storage to designated areas using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts or similar devices.
• Open containers and containers using appropriate tools.
• Attach tags/labels to items for correct identification.
• Follow safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
