RDR Utility Services Group in West Virginia is seeking a General Yard Laborer to support the Ready-Mix Division. You will provide physical assistance to mechanics, mixer drivers, and loader operators and help with precast production.

We value punctuality, safety, and a positive attitude. The role involves outdoor work, lifting up to 75 lbs, long hours, and proficiency with hand tools in a busy facility environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working outside in varying weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs, stand for long periods, walk, squat.
• Able to work up to and at times greater than 10 hour days.
• Must be proficient with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance to mechanics, mixer drivers and loader operators.

• Provide physical assistance to mechanics, mixer drivers, and loader operators to support operation activities.
• Support processes related to precast production.
• Understand how to accurately take measurements.
• Assist with mechanical work in the shop.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Keep worksite and shop clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
• Perform regular lawn maintenance around the mixer facility.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Come to work on time and consistently with a good attitude and work the hours needed to fulfill the job requirements.
